Job Overview:

The IAM Administrator is responsible for managing identity and access control functions, ensuring secure provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews in line with organizational policies. The role requires strong hands-on experience in Active Directory, Exchange, Azure AD, and ticketing systems like ServiceNow, along with a solid understanding of identity governance and compliance principles.


Main Responsibilities:

User Lifecycle Management:

  • Provision access for new hires (AD accounts, app access, network access)
  • Off-boarding: Disable accounts and revoke access efficiently

Access Management:

  • Manage access to network shared drives using least privilege principles
  • Create and manage mailboxes, distribution groups, and shared mailboxes in Exchange

Ticket Handling:

  • Process access requests using ServiceNow
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related tickets promptly

Audit & Documentation:

  • Maintain and update IAM policies and documentation
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to access management

Security & Compliance:

  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information
  • Promote and enforce IAM best practices

Collaboration & Training:

  • Educate users on IAM processes
  • Collaborate with teams to improve IAM operations and quality of service

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify gaps and improve IAM workflows
  • Lead process improvements to streamline access management


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong experience with Active Directory (mandatory)
  • Experience with Exchange 2013 Admin Console (preferred)
  • Experience with Azure AD and Office 365 consoles
  • Understanding of Identity and Access Control Principles
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify process gaps
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Experience troubleshooting VPN issues, account lockouts, password resets
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools, DUO 2FA, SAP, and Trimble Accubid access administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and in a team environment

Requirements:

  • BE/B.Tech or Graduation in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years total IT experience, with at least 4 years in IAM
  • Hands-on experience with user access administration and IT security tools
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong understanding of IAM policies, security, and compliance frameworks
